This is a special and fun episode of Ask Sympraxis as we celebrate five whole years of laughing, learning, and growing together in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem!

Back in April 2020 - early COVID times when conferences were canceled and seeing people in person became a distant dream - we decided to start this series. At the time, it felt like a small thing, just a way to stay connected and talk shop, even if it didn’t get much traction. But here we are, five years later, and not only is it still going strong, but it’s also taught us more than we ever imagined. A happy side effect, indeed! This episode looks back at our top 10 episodes on YouTube (check out the list in the resources), and, to our surprise, the #1 most-watched episode is Migrating from Stream Classic. Who knew that would hit such a chord? It turns out the more evergreen topics really hold their ground, more than whatever the buzzword of the moment might be (yes, even you, Copilot).

At the 7:30 mark, don’t miss a highlight reel full of funny moments from past episodes - we had a blast putting it together. We also reflect on what we’ve learned over the years: Julie’s been diving deep into Azure extensibility, Marc remains a champion of the ever-important information architecture (some things never change!), and Todd’s been wrangling the Graph API and learning what PowerShell love (or lack thereof) looks like. Shoutout to some of our regular attendees too, including Kasper, for reminding us that sharing knowledge is what really powers a community. There were plenty of jokes, favorite moments, and reflections - it’s been one great ride.

Around the 20-minute mark we shift gears for a little “in memoriam” moment… for Microsoft products that are no longer with us. From Internet Explorer to Viva Topics and several others we may or may not still be mourning, we give them a proper (and maybe slightly dramatic) farewell.

To everyone who’s joined us over these five years - thank you! Whether you’ve sent in questions, shared your knowledge, or just laughed along with us, we’re so grateful. Here’s to many more Ask Sympraxis episodes to come!
